Relief distribution is where procurement, warehousing and transport have to arrive at the same place on the same day. Zhikal runs all three, which is why a distribution can be planned against a real delivery date rather than an estimated one.
Items are bought against specification and inspected before dispatch, assembled into kits and labelled, held in secure storage until the distribution window, then moved to the distribution point with a supervised handover. Beneficiary lists are checked at the point of receipt and acknowledgements are captured individually.
