Transport in Afghanistan is a routing problem before it is a vehicle problem. Corridor conditions, seasonal closures, checkpoint delays and the state of the final kilometres into a district all decide whether a consignment arrives intact and on the agreed day. Route planning starts from the destination and works backwards.
For cargo, Zhikal coordinates domestic freight movements and provides FCL/LCL support for containerised consignments moving inland, then takes the load through to last-mile delivery and a signed receipt.
For mobility, project vehicles are deployed for short assignments, field monitoring, surveys and distributions, or held for long-term project operations. Drivers and regional coordinators travel with the fleet, so a vehicle in a province is not a vehicle without support.

- No. Zhikal does not act as a customs broker. It coordinates domestic freight and provides FCL/LCL support for consignments moving inland once they are cleared for onward movement.
